Recipe of the Week: Spelt-Quark-Rolls

Some time ago I started using spelt flour instead of white flour and I also began to bake bread and rolls on my own. Via Deli-Magazine I found this quick and easy recipe for Spelt-Quark-Rolls which taste delicious especially if you eat them when they are still warm. You can put some butter on them or eat them with jam as well.

This is what you need for baking the rolls:

250g Quark
1 egg
2 tablespoons of olive oil
salt
sugar
350g spelt flour
1 package of baking powder


Put quark, egg, salt, oil and some sugar into a bowl and stir until it has a smooth consistence. Then add flour and baking powder and kneat it to a dough. Form small rolls out of the dough and bake them in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes at 200° C. Serve them with butter or jam.
